This isn't goodbye...

While I maybe packing my bags to head off on a new journey, our fitness journey together doesn't need to end.

It's essential to maintain a balanced diet to fuel your adventures and nourish your body. I've sourced specially curated healthy recipe packs that will become your trusty companion in the kitchen. New Personal Trainer

I have been so privileged to have been working with my in-person clients for a long time - many of them have been with me for years and have made amazing progress. I'll be maintaining  a working relationship with many of them when I move on from Pure Gym with my Online Coaching services. For those wanting in-person training, it's important to choose a new Personal Trainer who is a good fit for you. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

Certification: Make sure your new trainer is certified (Level 3 Personal Training is the minimum required) and see if their certification was accredited by CIMSPA, YMCA or other reputable body and regulated by Ofqual.

Experience: Look for a trainer who has experience working with people like you who share your fitness goals and needs.

Personality: You'll be spending a lot of time with your new trainer, so it's important to find someone you like and who you can connect with. Observe them at work, attend their classes and go and introduce yourself. 

Once you've found a potential new trainer, schedule an introductory consultation with them to find out more. This will give you a chance to meet them in person and see if they're a good fit for you.

Keeping Your Fitness Flame Alive

I just want to thank you for all of your support over the years. I have enjoyed working with each and every one of you, and I have learned so much from you. I am grateful for the opportunity to have helped you reach your fitness goals whether you were a personal client or attended my classes. 

I know that leaving the gym will be a big change for me, but I am excited for this new adventure. I am confident that my travels will allow me to learn and grow as a personal trainer, and I will be able to bring back new skills and knowledge, ready for my next fitness and wellbeing adventure.

So where are you going Spencer?

I am off on a world adventure for five months or so which is incredibly exciting. While it does mean my time at Pure Gym has to come to an end, it does signal a new exciting chapter in my life. On my return I will still be offering fitness and wellness services in new and exciting ways, so do watch this space.
